Description
Black lentils are the third richest plant food in protein after hemp and soy. Its name derives from the characteristic that, after cooking, its kernels remain whole and shiny, resembling beluga fish roe.
How to use: Wash the lentils under running water and soak them for 2 hours. It is boiled in a ratio of 1:2 (lentil:water), and more water can be added if needed. Beluga is a spectacular addition to salads and soups, as well as a great base for side dishes.
Storage: In a dry and cool place at room temperature.
