Ingredients:

  • 10 apples, cleaned and cut into pieces (you get about 3 cups of juice);
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon powder ;
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger powder or 1 tsp. finely grated fresh ginger;
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg (optional);
  • A pinch of ground cloves (optional);
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel.

Method of preparation:

Juice the apples in the juicer.

Add the cinnamon , ginger , nutmeg, cloves and orange peel to the juice. If serving the juice cold, let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve and serve.

If serving the juice hot, place the juice in a small saucepan and heat it until it boils. Turn off the heat and let the juice sit for 5 to 10 minutes. (Anthony William does not recommend microwaving.) Strain through a fine sieve and serve.

Portion for 1-3 people.
