STUFFED POTATO NIPPLES

STUFFED POTATO NIPPLES

These Stuffed Potato Bites are fun hors d'oeuvres that are perfect for any party or gathering. Black Himalayan salt , which is optional for this recipe, mimics the aroma and taste of eggs without using eggs in it. Eggs are a problem food for anyone with a chronic illness or symptom, so this recipe offers a fantastic alternative that is truly healing using potatoes. Even without the black Himalayan salt , these potato bites taste great and are a delicious and healthy alternative to the classic stuffed eggs.

Potatoes are rich in amino acids that specifically suppress the growth of viruses. They are high in glucose, which provides nutrients for the liver, as it relies on it to stay strong. It also helps to build up glycogen stores, the very resource that protects us from blood sugar problems, weight gain, fatty liver and dirty blood syndrome. Potatoes keep the liver calm and stable, ensuring its good work. They are also shunned because they are from the angiosperm family (many of them are inedible and poisonous to humans), but in reality they have the ability to reverse the development of various chronic diseases.

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a sheet of parchment paper for baking.

Cut the potatoes in half and place them cut side up on the baking paper. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes until cooked through.

Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for 10-15 minutes until they are cool enough to handle. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the inside of the potatoes, leaving a little space on the sides to form boats.

Place the hollowed out potatoes in a bowl and add the lemon juice, garlic, tahini , turmeric , red pepper , maple syrup , sea salt and black pepper . Knead until smooth and add a little almond milk if needed.

Place the mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a star tip and pipe it into the potato boats. Sprinkle them with red pepper , green onions and black Himalayan salt (if using). Serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!

Portion for 20-30 bites.
