MEDICAL BENEFITS OF VITAMIN C

MEDICAL BENEFITS OF VITAMIN C

Many people are aware that vitamin C can help them recover from a cold or flu, but there is much more to understand about how vitamin C supports our health. Vitamin C is essential for good health all year round, not just when we are sick. In fact, it is critical to our overall health and survival. Unfortunately, vitamin C deficiency is widespread today, and not getting enough of this important vitamin can contribute to almost any disease.

Why is vitamin C so important?

Vitamin C is anti-inflammatory, helps increase the number of white blood cells by boosting neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils and macrophages and generally strengthens the immune system in its fight against viruses, bacteria, yeasts, molds and other unwanted fungi. This makes getting enough vitamin C essential if you are struggling with a chronic disease or symptom.

The right kind of vitamin C also helps cleanse the liver, blood and lymph, strengthens the adrenal glands, restores damaged neurotransmitters and restores the central nervous system. It also helps the body to detoxify effectively, which is a challenge for many chronically ill people until they get the right nutrients to support detoxification.

Vitamin C also strengthens all levels of the liver's immune system. The liver uses vitamin C in all of its more than 2,000 chemical functions. Not only does it detoxify and cleanse the liver, it can also stop a sluggish liver, loosen and disperse fat cells stored in the liver, and help the liver recover from stress-related adrenaline rushes . Vitamin C can also help stop and repair scarring deep in the liver's core. It can also help with nodules, tumors and cysts.

Best sources of vitamin C

Different forms of vitamin C support our health in different ways, so it's important to know which high-quality sources of vitamin C to target. Some of the best food sources of vitamin C are rose hips, kiwi, oranges, tangerines and tomatoes. You can read about the healing properties of these foods and their specific vitamin C profile in the New York Times bestseller The Best Foods . Another great source of one of the main forms of vitamin C (there are many) is fresh squeezed fennel juice. Drinking half a liter of pure fennel juice on an empty stomach daily can offer many wonderful health benefits over time. All fruits and vegetables contain some amount of vitamin C, so if you focus on fresh produce, this will naturally help you increase your vitamin C intake.

Micro-C is a supplemental form of vitamin C that can be very beneficial for a wide range of people. Micro-C contains important additional bioflavonoids that support our health along with vitamin C itself. It also contains rose hips, and the vitamin C in rose hips has the power to transform and activate the other forms of vitamin C contained in the supplement, as well as all vitamins C from the food sources you consume, making them stronger. In addition, vitamin C in rose hips is the most bioidentical and bioavailable form of vitamin C - ie. the most usable form for our body. Vimergy® Micro-C is Anthony William's most recommended form of vitamin C because it is easy on the digestive system and gentle enough for very sensitive people. Other vitamin C supplements made with ascorbic acid can be heavy on the stomach and irritate people with more sensitive digestive systems.

Your Nutrient Enhancement Assistant

One way you or a loved one can boost your vitamin C intake is to get direct sunlight on your skin whenever possible. The sun enhances and improves the absorption and function of every single nutrient, including vitamin C. Think of the sun's rays as a means of obtaining multivitamin and multimineral support for all of your body's systems! It is not necessary to spend a long time in the sun, and sunburn should always be carefully avoided. Even five minutes in the sun at the beginning or end of the day, when the sun is not at its strongest, can be very beneficial. You can learn more about the sun and other important aspects of healing in the Healer Medium books .

As you can see, vitamin C is an extremely important vitamin for our health and deserves to be considered as part of the health protocol.
