Brown rice has not been processed into white rice. It is in its preserved outer shell that it contains useful nutrients, fiber, B vitamins, potassium and selenium.
Rinse the rice 3 times under running water and soak for 30 minutes. Cook with a little salt and fat for 40 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave under the lid for another 15 minutes.
