In this short video, Anthony William talks about mysterious palpitations (heart palpitations) and explains how they can sometimes be linked to impaired function of the vagus nerves.
He discusses cases where a person experiences constant or intermittent skipped beats, fluttering, or an irregular heartbeat, but tests reveal no structural heart problems. Anthony William mentions that a similar mechanism can also be behind ectopic heartbeats, arrhythmia, tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation when no problem with the heart itself is found.
According to Medical Medium information, the vagus nerves originate from the brainstem and reach the heart, participating in the transmission of electrical signals to it. When the brainstem is inflamed and the signals along the vagus nerves are disrupted, electrical activity can build up and then suddenly send a strong impulse to the heart. It is the heart's reaction to these irregular electrical signals that can be felt as skipped beats, fluttering, or palpitations.
Anthony William clarifies that the vagus nerves themselves are not the primary cause of the problem – something must be disrupting their normal function. He points out that in some cases, problems with neurons in the brain and the presence of toxic heavy metals can also play a role.
This is one of the mechanisms that, according to Medical Medium information, can be behind mysterious palpitations and heart rhythm disturbances when no structural problem with the heart itself is found.
