“The super flu is here. The H3N2 K strain is spreading rapidly right now and more and more people are getting sick from it. Anthony William shares how many people have been telling him, ‘This isn’t like the flus of the past.’ It’s a nasty virus and unfortunately it’s hitting people harder and longer than usual because it’s so aggressive. Many people who would normally get the flu in a week are now getting sick for several weeks or taking a month or more to recover.

“Because this is not your usual old flu virus from the past, the fight your immune system has to fight is also unusual. Everyone’s immune systems are working harder today than they were 10 or 20 years ago, because they are protecting us from so many more things now than they used to. And when a new virus like this super flu comes along, your immune system has to work even harder. Our job is to do everything we can to support our immune systems in their vital work, especially in the face of additional threats.”
