Small fruits also contain vitamins P, B1 (about 430 mg), B2 and K, as well as pectins (about 11%), butter (about 2%), organic acids (citric and malic), sugars (mostly sucrose, about 2.5%), tannins and mineral salts (about 3.25%), mostly potassium (about 512 mg), calcium (about 50 mg), phosphorus (about 54 mg), sodium (about 47 mg) and magnesium (about 122 mg) of salt.
The unique combination of vitamin C and other ingredients in rose hips proves to be a particularly good alternative in the treatment of avitaminosis (scurvy) and hypovitaminosis (spring fatigue, a condition after a serious illness), as it increases the vitality and efficiency of the body.
