Why corn is a troublemaker food

One of the important reasons to avoid corn is that it is very rare to find organic corn. People eat nachos, corn chips, corn tortillas, corn breaded sausage, canned corn, popcorn, corn cereal, corn flour, corn porridge, corn oil, high fructose corn syrup, and more—all of which are made from conventionally grown corn. This corn is too often genetically modified and consuming it can harm us.

GMO corn hides toxins that humanity has never been exposed to before. These are toxins foreign to the human body, to which we are exposed through the genetic modification of food. This is a risk when trying to cleanse and detox. It also poses a risk if you are fighting pathogens ie. if viruses and bacteria in your body are causing symptoms and conditions. Corn has the potential to feed these microorganisms, allowing them to multiply, which can lead to more pronounced health problems.

It is not always easy to source organic corn and be sure that we are not consuming genetically modified produce. Even if the corn is grown without spraying with synthetic pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, that does not guarantee that it is not genetically modified or contaminated with GMOs. This is the reality we live with today.

Another reality is that the pathogens that reside in our bodies are so accustomed to feeding on sources of conventional GMO corn (because GMO corn has been used to grow pathogens in laboratories for decades) that these pathogens can develop appetite for organic corn as well. Viruses such as Epstein-Barr and herpes zoster , which feed on the conventionally grown corn found in snacks, will try to draw energy from the organic corn as well.

Back in the day, corn was an amazing, healing and nutritious food. Although it still contains some valuable substances, corn is too modified for us to benefit from what it has to offer - the bad outweighs the good, due to the toxic nature of GMO corn, which feeds pathogens. If you are going to eat corn after reading this, choose fresh, organic corn every now and then outside of the cleanse. It is best not to include corn in your diet at all when you are working on detoxification and healing.
