ICE CREAM LICKS WITH BLACK ELDER SYRUP

Popsicles are a fun and easy way to accept and give our kids more healing foods! As long as they are sweet and tasty, almost every child will love them and will happily gobble up all the healing foods hidden in them.
The star ingredient of this recipe is elderberry syrup .
Black elderberry is one of the most effective remedies for viral and bacterial infections, such as colds and flu, and can significantly shorten the duration of illness if you do get sick. The elderberry syrup recipe we want to share with you is clean, easy, and healing, without the preservatives and additives you may find in some store-bought products. Plus, elderberry syrup is sweet and delicious, a fantastic remedy that even children will love and enjoy consuming.
Black elderberry contains special proteins and bioflavonoids that have the ability on contact to destroy viruses that infect cells in the body. Elderberries are also known to have the ability to significantly boost immune function by stimulating the body's production of cytokines. In addition, elderberries are very beneficial for bronchial and respiratory problems and can help expectorate and clear congestion in the lungs.
Popsicles with elderberry syrup
Ingredients:
- 50 ml. elderberry syrup
- 1 cup fresh orange juice or coconut water
Method of preparation:
Whisk the syrup and orange juice or coconut water together in a bowl. Pour into ice cream molds and place in the freezer overnight.
Portion for 4-6 people.
