THYROID HEALING TEA

THYROID HEALING TEA

Teas are a great way to bring some calmness into our hectic everyday life. This thyroid healing tea (recipe is from Anthony William's book Thyroid Healing ) will do that for your spirit as well as your thyroid and the rest of your body. Stop for a moment and give yourself a brief moment of rest and while you drink the tea, calm your heart and mind. These healing foods are a true miracle of God!

Thyme: an amazing anti-viral agent that is an integral part of clearing any thyroid disease. Its nutritional compounds enter the thyroid gland, killing the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) there and allowing the thyroid gland to regain control of itself, and this valuable food also lowers the viral load throughout the body, helping to relieve multiple symptoms.

Fennel seeds: Fennel seeds contain an aspirin-like compound that acts as an anti-inflammatory to the EBV- infected thyroid gland . This calming of the thyroid gland helps improve hormone production.

Lemon balm: this pleasant and mild-tasting herb is a powerful remedy against EBV and its cofactor, the streptococci . It kills and repels viral and bacterial cells in the thyroid, liver and spleen thanks to its alkaloids and other key phytochemicals. At the same time, it helps to strengthen the lymphocytes so that the immune system can fight the virus. It is incredibly helpful at the first onset of EBV symptoms in the mono phase of the virus (infectious mononucleosis), but also lemon balm will give you a positive boost in treating EBV regardless of its phase. It is also useful for weakening the growth of nodules.

Raw honey: the ultimate fuel for nourishing, repairing and revitalizing the thyroid gland. The glucose and other nutrients in raw honey actually target the thyroid gland to nourish it. Modern medicine still does not know the symbiotic relationship between honey and the thyroid gland. It is also an antiviral agent that, thanks to its zinc content , helps fight EBV .

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of water;
  • 1 tsp thyme (it is best to use fresh thyme, but you can also use dried);
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds;
  • 1 tsp lemon balm (as with thyme, it is recommended to use fresh lemon balm, but you can also use dried);
  • 2 tbsp. raw honey (optional).

Method of preparation:
